I really enjoy finding out about other organisations and what they get up to – the journalist in me has never quite gone away!
I’m also lucky enough to be based in Plymouth, which is a Social Enterprise City. There are so many good projects, doing great work which people just don’t know about!
So Manico PR is taking part in the Social Enterprise Festival in Plymouth, running 18th-22nd November 2019, offering a free workshop for social enterprises and other small businesses and non-profits.
It will cover things like what PR is and why it’s so important and how to start building relationships with people via social media and through the press. There should also be time for a few questions and answers, and to get to know the other attendees.
For those organisations which can’t afford professional PR support, it should provide a better understanding of how to give the outside world a real taste of what they do and why it’s so important.
For full details, visit the Eventbrite page and feel free to share with anyone who might be interested!
If you’re interested in longer-term or more involved PR support, please do get in touch.
